At the Minnesota Masters Annual Meeting on Saturday, not only did we honor our new Hall of Fame members, Sharon Lee-Sheridan and Peggy Kratz, but we also held elections for our 2022-2023 Executive Board. Each of the following individuals was elected to a 2 year term:

  • Carrie Stolar (Chair)
  • Beth Nymeyer (Vice chair)
  • Brian Cohn (Registrar/Membership Coordinator)
  • Tom Hodgson (At-Large). 

They will be joining executive board members Duane Jacobson (Treasurer), Gary Kovacs (Secretary), and Katy Vandam (At-Large) whose terms run through the end of 2022.

Minnesota Masters Swimming LMSC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to a healthy swimming lifestyle for adult swimmers within 87 counties in Minnesota and 3 in Western Wisconsin. It is the local governing body for United States Masters Swimming (USMS).

There are 1,172 registered swimmers in the Minnesota LMSC and over 60,000 nationwide. Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible to join. No prior competitive swimming experience is necessary.
